Experience You Can Trust
Jeff Johansen – Founder
Nico PesciNico Pesci was born in a small town outside of Boston, MA but ended up in Utah County thanks to Donny and Marie Osmond (not kidding) and has been here ever since. He is married to his best friend, Abbie, and is the beaming father of two little tornados, Liliana, 6 and Nicolas, 3.
After working in the corporate side of finance for over three years, Nico partnered with Cambridge Financial in 2009 to open his own financial practice. The transition was motivated by witnessing his parents go through experiences in 2006 and 2008 that devastated their retirement – experiences he felt could have been avoided with proper education and planning.
He quickly became one of the top (and youngest) advisors within Cambridge Financial due to his laser focus on creating safer retirement plans and helping clients adapt to the changing financial markets and economic environment. This focus and a passion to help and serve his clients has helped him become a multi-year qualifying member of MDRT’s Top of the Table – an internationally recognized and respected level that places his work in the top 1% of advisors across the country.
Travis EwellTravis Ewell has been in the financial services industry since 1998 and joined Cambridge Financial in 2012. In addition to building his own practice, he is also responsible for growing the firm through recruiting, training, and developing new advisors.
Travis grew up in Pleasant Grove, Utah, and attended Ricks College in Rexburg, Idaho, earning his associates degree in Business. He then transferred to Southern Utah University in Cedar City, Utah, and completed his bachelor’s degree in Finance. Currently, he is a Financial Advisor with his Series 6, 7, 63, and 65, securities registrations. He is a multi-year member of the Million Dollar Round Table and an active member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA).
Travis, his wife Cheri, and their four children currently live in Genola, Utah, where he is very active with his family and a part-time farmer. He is active with his church responsibilities as well as coaching basketball. If he can’t be found at work, he is more than likely working with his 600 evergreen trees or on a mountain somewhere hunting mule deer.
Larry KiserLarry began his career in financial services in 1997 in Salt Lake City, Utah, with Mutual of New York. In 2003 he jumped into management with Beneficial Financial Group and in 2004 he moved to Idaho to open a scratch office there. He now resides in beautiful St. George, Utah. From the beginning, Larry has focused on the principles at work within the retirement planning world and sought to employ them for his clients. He has found that principles don’t lie and when used properly they protect his clients. His practice is built on assisting clients in their desire to retire comfortably and to remain comfortably retired. By focusing on wealth accumulation as well as wealth preservation he is able to navigate the complexities of retirement and income planning for his clients. The goal is always to “outlast and outpace”. The money has to “outlast” the client while at the same time “outpacing” inflation.
Larry enjoys speaking in public, teaching financial workshops and working one on one with his clients. He definitely has a talent and unique ability to take complex financial issues and break them down into components that resonate with his clients. He seems to have a story for almost any scenario which explains the question at hand in ways they can relate to.
Larry loves spending time with his wife, Julie and their five beautiful children. He also enjoys coaching football, bike riding, and fly fishing. He truly loves just being outdoors and admiring and enjoying the beauty found therein.
